FrontlineSMS continues to benefit from exceptional relationships with a number of major donors, including the Omidyar Network, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Vodafone Americas Foundation.

 

Many other funders have provided valuable support for FrontlineSMS-related work and activities, including the MacArthur Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, GSMA, and the Open Society Institute (OSI), HIVOS, The Cairns Charitable Trust, The Isaac Newton Trust, the Indigo Trust and Internews.

FrontlineSMS Founder Ken Banks has received generous funding awards from both Ashoka and the Pizzigati Prize, and FrontlineSMS was also honored to receive the Curry Stone Design Prize. You can read more about this support on our Awards page.

Altogether these relationships with organizations dedicated to mobile for development have helped further FrontlineSMS’ mission of empowering people to drive social change with mobile technology.
